TMCnet took advantage of the opportunity to speak with a number of key industry players at Interop this year, including Joulex. Thomas Noonan, president and CEO of Joulex

“Low hanging fruit is the fact that IT networks are never turned off; the power is never reduced,” said Noonan. “Systems like Joulex have shown that we can reduce 40-60 percent of the overall energy consumption on a distributed IT network. 40-60 percent of a million dollars is real money and we believe that kind of return is going to drive businesses to implement Joulex as a way to reduce energy costs, reduce the carbon footprint and reduce greenhouse gases.”
